Be enchanted by this beautifully creative art discipline turning fine metal CLAY (yes Clay!) into actual solid fine silver jewellery!

SILVER CLAY WORKSHOP – BEGINNERS DAY CLASS
£100

This workshop is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning how to make real silver jewellery with this amazing new creative clay.

The class will cover how to plan, create, fire and finish simple jewellery designs in real silver.

Expect to make two or three items such as a pair of earrings and a pendant or charms for a bracelet and a necklace.
Everything will be ready to wear by the end of the day and you’ll feel confident to continue working with silver clay to create your own designs at home.

We’ll cover all the key techniques of planning, rolling, shaping, design and decoration as well as polishing and making up your finished pieces. We’ll also look at how easy it is to fire the clay at home – you don’t need a kiln. I will talk you through every stage, step by step with lots of demos and tips for silver success!

It will be a fun day with plenty of time to experiment and get creative with silver clay.

Melanie started her career with her dream job – valuing diamonds for DeBeers. Since then, she has designed for Asprey, Garrard and Tiffany’s and continues her love for all things glittery….!

‘By joining this class you agree not to benefit financially from my ideas, designs, projects or lesson plans. In other words, I’m delighted to introduce you to the wonderful world of silver clay but if you are hoping to either teach or sell your jewellery in the future, please don’t copy.’
