Enjoy a relaxing, creative day learning how to design and create real silver jewellery with Melanie Blaikie.
During the day you will be working with clay-type silver and will complete two projects, such as a pendant & earrings or a bracelet and a brooch, which will be ready to wear by the end of the class. Silver ‘clay’ is re-cycled, pure silver which is easy to work with, even for complete beginners.

Prepare to be amazed as you turn ‘clay’ into real silver – plenty of fun and creative inspiration guaranteed!

Melanie Blaikie is an author, maker and jewellery designer who has been sharing her skills since 2010. Her book ‘Silver Clay Workshop’ is an Amazon best seller and she is also a regular guest designer on Jewellery Maker TV.

The cost of the class / materials includes everything you need for the day but there will also be a small selection of books, tools etc for sale so you can continue your silver clay adventures at home.
The course runs from 10am – 5pm with a one hour break for lunch. Feel free to bring your own lunch or alternatively enjoy lunch at Flo’s cafe.

Please note it will not be possible to make a ring or a bangle in this class.

‘By joining this class you agree not to benefit financially from my ideas, designs, projects or lesson plans. In other words, I’m delighted to introduce you to the wonderful world of silver clay but if you are hoping to either teach or sell your jewellery in the future, please don’t copy.’
