Enjoy an adventure in silver with one of the UK’s foremost teachers and this exciting and innovative new form of pure silver. Learn easy techniques to design and create real silver jewellery using just a few simple tools. Expect to make four or five finished pieces such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets or brooches. Everything will be super-shiny and ready to wear – or send for hallmarking – by the end of the course.

Suitable for beginners, this course is a perfect introduction to the wonderful world of silver clay – fun and creative inspiration guaranteed. Melanie Blaikie, author of ‘Silver Clay Workshop’, regularly appears on Jewellery Maker TV and recently represented Denman on BBC’s ‘Escape to the Country’.

All tools, equipment and materials are provided by your tutor so you can relax and enjoy your class. An additional cost of approx. £65.00 per person will be payable to your tutor for materials and consumables used during the course.

‘I’ve never thought of myself as ‘crafty’ so I’m just astounded to be leaving with so many finished pieces that look incredibly professional. The process of turning ‘clay’ to silver is quite magical – I feel like Harry Potter!’
