This includes three workshops with all materials or ingredients, two nights of accommodation, a demonstration on the Friday night, Saturday night entertainment, breakfast, lunch and three-course dinners.

Select three workshops from the following:

Jane Lappage  Modern Calligraphy – A quick insight into ink resist creating gift tag or simple card. You will have seen this on trend script everywhere. The beauty of learning this script is it should be easier to master and personalise, making it unique to you. You will be using a fine point nib which is perfect for left handers too. In the short time we have you will practise the skills in this script, gain confidence and create a card or gift tag using ink resist and applying a watercolour wash.

Janine Kilroe Decoupage Decoupage comes from the French verb ‘to cut out’. It is a very accessible, fun, relaxing and a creative craft for beginner and dabblers. Decoupage can be used to personalize almost any item in your home.

Natalie Griffin Lantern Making A fun crafty course where you will make a set of 3 beautiful lanterns using your choice of fabric. The lanterns use battery operated tea lights giving the effect of a flame, delivering unique mood lighting for all occasions without the risk of fire, mess or fumes! This workshop gives everyone the chance to take something personal and handmade away whilst learning a different crafting skill

Melanie Blaikie Silver Clay This workshop will be a whirlwind introduction to the wonderful world of silver clay. An innovative, new form of pure silver, the ‘clay’ is soft, pliable and easy to work with. Together, we will design and create a simple textured pendant. Choose your texture and be amazed as we turn ‘clay’ into sparkling silver. Your pendant will be super-shiny and ready to wear (or send for hall-marking) by the end of the session.

Jill Arthur Seasonal Baking Summer is a time when we can enjoy picnics and having the chance to eat outdoors. It nice to have homemade goodies in the hamper to enjoy. So we will make a tear and share cheese bread and an apricot flapjack.
